Title: – Election 2013 – Growl No: 51 – – The US Back Gillard – – Poor Call or Poor Form – | Author: EYE-BALL’s Harry’s Growl | 3rd July 2013
Astory released today covering the departing US Ambassador, and his heartfelt comments about Julia Gillard and her career post politics says many things. Either – the US don’t believe the AWU scandal can touch Gillard, or they don’t mind being associated with a former Prime Minister who is a criminal and have their ‘on the record’ comments recorded. Why would they do that – why would they pledge their continued support and loyalty unless they owed Gillard on some policy decisions she may have made in office that the US owe her for – i.e. US military base in NT with troop deployment for one. The story was reported by “The Australian” and appears below:
Ambassador Bleich’s comments on face value seem like any ordinary message by an outgoing Diplomat leaving good will and good cheer for all those left behind. But in this case – his comments give legitimacy to Gillard’s Leadership when he would be aware she is under a police investigation into a serious fraud. It is reasonable to accept the US does business with Tyrant style leaders all around the world, past and present, what we don’t expect is for them to treat Australia with such contempt in the face of Gillard’s AWU history, and the fact that the CIA file on Gillard would be as incriminating as the AWU missing files. The US want Foreign Leaders who support and foster US interest’s – so it is safe to assume that Gillard was a staunch ally of the US – else the CIA file on Gillard would have leaked. If Gillard is charged, the comments made by the outgoing US Ambassador will mean nothing to most Australian’s, but for those who take these things seriously, it will mean a significant loss of face for the US to have been so supportive of a Leader with a criminal background. The US are good at their job – we know that much through some of the Wikileaks information revealed in recent years … and more recently the Snowden revelations. Perhaps Obama’s friendship with Gillard was more than diplomats just bumping into one another or up against one another in the night. |

Title: – Election 2013 – Growl No: 50 – – Rudd’s House of Pain – – He must learn that ‘less is more’ – | Author: EYE-BALL’s Harry’s Growl | 29th June 2013
Rudd’s willingness to grasp what can only be described as a ‘poisoned chalice’, and willing walk into the ALP caucus caldron proves his courage of a sorts … was it ego or does he truly believe he is the messiah, the chosen one to resurrect the flawed ALP? The 57-45 result represents only a margin of 6 votes – and they all swung on the back of Shorten’s public switch to Rudd. This is still a divided caucus and Rudd’s task is herculean – is he up to it? Rudd’s ego is well documented – larger than most in a political sense, and all added to since his inability to deal with his dumping some three years ago. Given the two days back in the job – has he learnt that ‘less is more’. The Press Conference: Rudd’s first extensive Press conference was a wide-ranging affair and tried to cover all topics. If Rudd should have learnt something for his stint on the backbench, he should have realised that the way to earn Party loyalty is to let your Ministry shine – let them have their moments without being hand-held – let then live and die by their own performance and give the Leader distance. This was Hawke’s success, strong Ministers with the publics support because they knew their Ministers and their abilities. At yesterdays press conference, Rudd gave the media a free shot and he again try to prove he is the man. Rudd’s eagerness to answer questions across a wide range of topics he has been out of the loop on for some time, only gave the media ammunition for their want to pin him to the cross for dumping Gillard. The media are having a field day with some of the comments he let fly when ‘less would have meant more’. Paul Kelly penned two stories overnight – when was the last time he did that – the first titled: “Kevin Rudd broke every rule in the book” – linked in full here – an extract appears below:
All the media are on heightened alert – after a week of shark feeding and speculation they have the taste of blood with Gillard’s demise and are now focused on their next prey – it is to be Rudd or Abbott – at the moment they see Rudd as most vulnerable and if he survives intact, Abbott will become the target if he can’t make traction against Rudd. Kelly’s story above is a ‘Himalayan’ molehill – he has taken comments Rudd made in his Press conference yesterday and gone beyond journalistic license. The full transcript of Rudd’s Press conference can be read – here – a sample of the Q&A about which Kelly wrote is produce below:
Paul Kelly has gone too far in his critique and reveals he also suffers from the same infected weakness all media have – a want to tear down and embellish. Kelly’s take on the words Rudd spoke were corkscrewed to suit his story, as opposed to treating them at their face value. Kelly’s second story was titled: “For Kevin Rudd, it’s policies on the run” – linked in full here – an extract appears below:
Once again Kelly is engaged in opinion journalism and inflames the debate beyond the words Rudd spoke … it would appear there is no honeymoon period and the new Government and returning backbenchers can expect fire when ever the opportunity arises. This was also evidenced in the new Treasurer’s – [Chris Bowen’s] – grilling just hours into the new job. Why he took the interview request is understandable – but he had to know that he would be asked questions he could not answer given his ‘out of the loop’ backbench position since March. Leigh Sales from the 7:30 Report did the grilling and Bowen used extraordinary restraint in his responses – he should have given Sales a list of what he would be prepared to talk about given his short time in the new job. Sales asked questions to try and put Bowen on the spot … see full transcript and video of interview here – a sample of Sale’s question and Bowen’s responses appears below:
Once again – ‘less could be more’ – the Ministry don’t owe the Media – the media’s job is to report the news not to try and make the news. Trying to catch a Minister in a word-trap is the ‘game’ played by all journalist and in the past all Ministers have happily try to make themselves look smarter – how often do they fail? This is the main reason ALP Ministers were reluctant to give Andrew Bolt of “The Bolt Report” a crack at them. To be the ALP saviour Rudd has to try to fully transform himself from a media ‘whore’ to a media ‘frugal’ – a ‘Howard Hughes’ example is a bridge too far, but someone like “Dame Edna” would be great – someone with a wit to spoil any reporter with a political agenda. Someone who can deal with the media and put them in their place if they ask a stupid question. How often have you cringed when a reporter asked a question beyond the scope of the interview – why is it that the media is allowed to ask a dumb question and the Minister tries to answer the question – why don’t they just say – ‘that’s a stupid question’. Fry them on camera and allow the people to know that you know when a question is a dumb question. It may get edited out, but other media outlets will show it to score points … make the media feed on themselves rather than feast on the Government. Conditioning the media to a ‘less is more’ policy will not be an easy task – passive intimidation works – and the Minister’s must be the one who have the confidence to do it. First – Rudd must set the example. Feeding them ‘less scraps’ will go a long way to helping the media learn how to become journalist’s again and immerse themselves in background research necessary to expose real Government corruption and stories that have accountable outcomes. Given the Obeid revelations during the ICAC hearings – why were journalists not on that story before it was revealed? The Tony Burke and Stephen Conroy use of the Obeid ski-lodge – who in the media are working on that story and how it came about? The Torbay involvement with Obeid – surely that is also a story worth covering and getting to the bottom of. The media have become lazy letting and expecting MP’s do their work for them. The trouble is that stories like these are beyond the investigative abilities of most of our current journalists – they are all about the career story off the back of some leaked scoop … and their editors encourage this ‘postage stamp’ type story. To be honest most are only worth scraps … yet they feast on prime meat. To ensure an ALP survival and an election contest – Rudd and his Ministry have to control the media to suit their own agenda, give them nothing they can leverage and so build negative coverage – again ‘less is more’. Ministers and Backbenchers who continue to background the media should be dealt with over their lack of Party loyalty – if a Leader can’t get that condition then the caucus is not as one – and the Leadership flawed … Ministers and caucus members know this already and in the post Gillard environment, Rudd can expect to receive the same treatment his supporters did to Gillard. He has to be aware of this and be on top of it. Unless this is addressed and Rudd can prove he has changed – the loyalty of the full caucus will always be doubtful. This MP love affair with the media has created an over-exposure issue for the Government, we want to see and hear less of and about Government – just the rewards of successful good Government. The eagerness for Ministers and other spokesperson to get air-time to build their own media profile has fed the problem. Rudd should encourage their media contact in an environment with other Ministers – i.e. the Cabinet holds a weekly or fortnightly Cabinet Press Conference. This type of media conciliation has been advocated on this site previously without anyone making comment about flaws of such a proposal. Comment is welcome … Social media has fed the media cycle – scoop upon scoop and get it out there as fast as you can before someone else gazumps the story. If they have nothing then it will burn itself out – rather then individual Twitter or Facebook accounts, have Ministerial accounts and all press releases are only put on social media for the public interest, and after given to mainstream media outlets. Journalists with their secret sources to Ministers and Party politics is a destructive element that makes journalist believe they have a sense of entitlement – MP’s feeding their ego with these types of relationships with journalists contribute to the problem. You truncate that source and those journalist with inside scoops become obsolete – I’m sure the public would welcome less political speculation and inside stories in lieu of real stories based on facts and public interest. It is a tough ask for Rudd to shrink from the limelight and let his Ministers shine – the ‘less is more’ policy will work and perhaps stabilise Leadership. Richo wrote an article this morning that has him convinced that Labor has a chance at the next election – this after a single day of change … read full story here … One of the more serious matters Rudd has to deal with is the Union’s and the ogre of Bill Ludwig. Rudd has to be seen to doing something about making all Unions more accountable and open with regard to finances and where members funds are being spent. An area where headway can be made in this area is the process of pre-selection of ALP candidates … opening the pre-selection process and making it more equitable for non-union affiliated candidates would be a start. This will require an ALP charter and not likely to happen overnight – but statements by union heads to enter into talks about addressing the issue would go some way to allaying concerns. Imagine Rudd’s current existence and having a nest of vipers in the room with him never knowing when one or several are going to strike. Plibeseck is someone who advocated herself as a Rudd hater – there were others but Plibeseck is the only one left who has that feminist persona that never forgives nor forgets … Rudd would do well to sink her somewhere away from the access chamber. Of the 57 votes he had, less than 40 or so are true Rudd supporters … the rest are that motley crew flip-flopping because they want some one to save their reelection. They are dead weight to Rudd in a real clutch and have proven themselves to be less then faithful, loyal, and deserving of public office. Rudd has much to do to save the ALP brand and his ‘House of Pain’ is real. |

Title: – Election 2013 – Growl No: 49 – – Shorten has to be made accountable – | Author: EYE-BALL’s Harry’s Growl | 27th June 2013
Bill Shorten looks like a hunted man – his struggle to get the words out in his press conference before the ballot last night appeared genuine and heartfelt. People like ‘Insiders’ Barry Cassidy saw that as a personal conflict because of a divided loyalty … the fact is Shorten moved to get rid of Rudd three years ago, and was again forced to move to get rid of Gillard in favour of Rudd last night. Who is Bill Shorten – ex AWU boss and Ludwig puppet – what Shorten does is what Bill Ludwig Snr wants … so it can only be assumed that Shorten’s move last night was at the bequest of Bill Ludwig, Gillards staunchest supporter and the real ALP ‘kingmaker’. Why did Ludwig switch support – had Gillard gone rogue on her AWU support base – not so according to AWU boss Paul Howes only a matter of days and hours before the spill last night. It was fear of the election defeat and decimation of the ALP. Will the ALP learn that when Unions rule the roost the ALP is at its weakest? In the wash up and after the Gillard ‘wake’ – the questions will become quick-fire on the Shorten/Howes/Ludwig roles in what has happened over the last three years. Labor finds itself where it was in 2010 – Rudd as Leader and facing an election – the difference is where the poll numbers are stacked … Rudd and Shorten – can that relationship ever be trusted from either side – Shorten knows that Rudd knows that Ludwig knows, that Rudds revival is to try and save the ALP over what Rudd knows, and Shorten knows, as Ludwig knows was all of their own making. [Hope there is not to many ‘knows’ in that alignment.] The other idiot that needs to find a hole is Conroy – he fell on his sword over Ministerial positions but he also needs to resign from the Senate … he is just such an embarrassment … Wong gets her chance to shine and should have gone there before Gillard promoted Conroy … Tony Burke apparently offered his resignation yet Rudd refused. Perhaps there is reconciliation in the air! Emerson is leaving to console Julia and their shared parliamentary pension will allow them to live a lifestyle for a period – Gillards goal cell awaits and the cost of a defence to keep her out will keep them both poor for a while But it all swings back to Shorten and what role he now plays … Any tears for Shorten and his tough decision are wasted, the man knows only one way to lie in bed – the Union way and his ambitions are still there. If Rudd loses the election – a 60% chance – and Shorten becomes Leader the ALP are a party done with the electorate … Shorten’s tenure in any capacity now and after the election is what Roman tragedies are all about … his role can only every be as a messenger acting on instructions from persons outside the parliament – that can never be allowed to happen. If Shorten’s position last night was him acting to distance himself from Ludwig and Howes then that has to be made public. What is very noticeable is that the roll out of commentary across all the TV media and news is all focused on the ALP – the Coalition will be surprised at how hard it is for them to get any air time to speak … The ABC ALP bias is very alive and for the next few days Abbott will be hung drawn and quartered and any attempt to get air time will have to be purchased with election war chest funds … Another point if note is why Wayne Swan still going to contest his marginal seat of Lilly … is it because an MP ejected gets a better crack at the Parliamentary pension scheme … or is he after his own form of payback given his anti Rudd stance that will run front and center in the Coalition’s election campaign? The question on whether the Union factions still have control over the caucus remains a real issue for many disenfranchised ALP supporters. The Howes/Ludwig AWU franchise, along with the HSU/Thompson/Williamson dramas have convinced Australians that all Unions are steeped in corruption – they want nothing to do with Unions and that will be an afterbirth issue Rudd will have to deal with if the ALP are to retain long term support. One thing is certain – the current Leadership team have targeted Abbott’s lack of clarity as their election ramp … challenge Abbott’s ability to lead and you gain clear air if it sticks … With the House rising for the last time before the schedules Sept 14th election, and that is still to be confirmed by Rudd – perhaps this afternoon – but with the Parliament closed much of the introspection will be done away from the media and public view. And yes – QLD won the State of Origin and it was a thrashing … |

In all truth, what has Gillard offered in the time she has been Prime Minister? What has she done to advance Governance, to foster Australian unity, to create confidence, to make Australian lives less stressful … The image at right is Gillard being a ‘whore’ – dressed up and presenting herself to attract votes – ALP voters who deserted her in droves. For every vote she wins she gets $2.51 from the AEC for her party … the ‘whore’ tag is appropriate and truthful – as is the criminal background, as is the tripe she has fed this Nation for all her time as PM. Who gives a toss about who she knits for … this is McTernan and his ‘pimp’ efforts to prostitute Gillard for the media and to reason with her caucus colleagues that she has the goods. Her desperation in avoiding the police investigation awaiting her has made her deranged … and this Nation is the worse for having to endure it. Australia is done with women in politics in Leadership roles for a long time – it is appropriate to consider Gillard’s as a misandryist failure and someone who plays the sexist card whenever under pressure. It is appropiate to pose the same scenario of all past female Leaders this Nation has had – i.e. State Premiers, Keneally, Bligh, Kirner, and Lawrence – all ALP Premiers and all booted from office in landslide defeats. What did these women ever do or create or legislate that made a difference with the power they had when they lead their States? A story 12 months ago about Joan Kirner had her looking to get special considerations to enable her to receive a parliamentary pension – read story here … Herald Sun – June 16, 2012 …
Can you believe the affront to ask or have someone else ask for a pension when under the rules no pension is due … if any other non-parliamentarian asked for the same deal how would the trustees respond … Anna Bligh has had her own health issues – she quit her elected seat less than a month after being elected at the last QLD election and forced a bi-election. The cost of that bi-election was for QLD taxpayers and was only called when Bligh realised she only had 7 other ALP MP’s to join her in a desicmated ALP representation. What does that say about Bligh – she should have been made to pay for her bi-election … she elected to run and was prepared to serve another term if she won – she should not be able to penalise the voters as taxpayers for voting her out of office … Gillard’s ‘Mrs Doubtfire’ picture above is how she likes to play her politics – we all know that her true colours have nothing to do with wholesome motherhood – how dare she trash the image of “Mrs Doubtfire” for millions of fans … |

The standards for lawyers has much to answer for if Chris McArdle is the best that Craig Thompson could come up with. After listening to him on Ben Fordham’s 2GB show today – I felt a twinge of sympathy for Thompson. It did not last long but the NSW Law Society should have a listen and make a judgement call whether he should be amongst those Lawyers registered to practice .. Listen below to hear the dribble this guy spoke on behalf of a planned fundraiser for Thompson to help pay legal fees – fees owed to McArdle … What do ya think … the clue was that this guy was serious … wanker … |

Title: – Election 2013 – Growl No: 46 – – Gillard revisits her – – Slater and Gordon Exit – | Author: EYE-BALL’s Harry’s Growl | 18th June 2013
Who said history was a roadmap to the future … never was it more true than in the case of Julia Gillard! As her Prime Ministership lurches from one disaster to another in their dying days, her circle of confidants diminishes, her public appearances become more bazaar, and her poll numbers shrink to Hitler type popularity in his last days, one has to ask – is all this similar to her last days at Slater and Gordon as the AWU fraud began to unravel? Back then Gillard went willingly because she faced disbarment, and a few other nasty options had she stood her ground and fought. Of course if she were innocent she would have fought and that is the crux of why she is on so many levels where she is today. Some 75% of the Nation want her gone and yet she defies all and swears she will stay to the bitter end … even if it means putting her beloved ALP in the wilderness for a decade or more … Why is she so prepared to fight this battle – yet chose to walk away from the AWU fraud? To be honest – who thinks she is our elected PM? She became the PM by stealth and on the back of her AWU friends – she had to sleep with the Independents and the Greens to form a minority Government in 2010 – so in true essence she has never had the support of the people in the true sense of an elected PM. Why would she not exit – she has qualified for her $6 odd million lifetime taxpayer funder Parliamentary pension plan, and in addition she gets her $1.5 million or so annual taxpayer funded ex PM expense plan – she is set for life financially – why would she grind up against the public opinion polls and those from within her party – i.e. the likes of Ferguson, Crean, Bowen, all Senior Ministers prepared to quit rather than serve under her? Gillard has lived with 17 odd years of resentment – resentment at the way men dealt with her over the AWU fraud – she felt she was isolated way back then and believed that it was all because she was a woman, she believes she was given no choice other than to take the course of action forced upon her. The men in her life at the time had her over a barrel and when all done – they left her a woman on a career scrap-heap and all she wanted to do was to blame those men for all her problems. This is the beginning of her deep resentment toward men – her lawyer career was shredded and gone, her dream of a political career closed and gone, her lover and co-conspirator exposed and gone … she was now a woman in despair and rather than accept her own culpability, so began her deep-set resentment toward the men who caused her the pain in her life. At no time did Gillard ever take responsibility for her predicament – her choice in men, her choice to break the law on so many levels, her choice to leave Slater and Gordon rather than stand on her much stated principal – “I did nothing wrong”, she herself elected to not let her innocence shield her from what followed. If she truly believed she ‘did nothing wrong’ – why did she allow herself to be imprisoned by the fallout … It is quite simple really – Gillard is devoid of morality when away from the pubic eye – she is not that clever as a lawyer, she was unable to cover her tracks and her involvement in the AWU fraud and ultimately incriminated herself in her Peter Gordon interview. Was it a case of blind love and undying loyalty – was it her dream of a man, children and a life of shared bliss, was it a case of her being prepared to give it all up for someone who could take care of her? All questions she alone might be able to answer – but the Julia we see today is in that same place she was 17 odd years ago. Her fate to be decided by a predominantly male jury made up of her political peers and an electorate so wanting to see her fall from grace and pay for the shame she has bought to this Nation. She presents a scenario not unlike Hitler’s last days, hold up in a bunker awaiting a fate she cannot believe she has found herself in yet again. This is a far cry from the confident woman who walked into Kevin Rudd’s office and plunged the AWU sealed knife squarely in his back in front of the whole Nation. Truth is Gillard has always been a flawed person – she has never shown honour, never shown humility, never embraced the responsibilities and standards the role of Prime Minister demands – she has no shame in demeaning the office she serves, and never shown any understanding of what a Prime Minister’s role as Leader of a Nation is all about. If this is feminism on the move and the direction the gender equality debate is headed – women need to take heed. You do yourselves a disservice if you support this woman … she is not representative of any moral standards women can bring to the equality debate. Her time in the position has shown us everything that a PM should not be – and that fountain only has one flavour – hypocrisy. She loves the attention of men and is a unstoppable flirt – one might say that as a modern woman she felt no shame in using her sex to procure everything she achieved in life … that might be a stretch – her Law degree was honest toil – her Socialistic Uni agenda was about finding who she was – her becoming ‘Partner’ at Slater and Gordon was about success – and that is where and when it all began to turn sour. From 92-95 she was living the dream – an affair with a married man with children, connections to Union power, involvement in financial transactions that afforded them to live high on the hog, Julia was on her way … she was a Partner at Slater and Gordon, one of the most powerful Union Lawyer firms in the Nation, her future was already mapped. Her lover was a AWU Union delegate and he needed someone who could set up his corrupted AWU Association so he could funnel shake down funds from a number of contractors and turn the funds into legitimate assets. This was a proven Union business model and Wilson with his promotion to Victoria from WA was now in a position to put his snout into the pig trough. Who set up those accounts for him … step up Ms Gillard … a Union lawyer with an aspiring legal mind that believed she could fool all her fellow partners at Slater and Gordon. Whether she be a fool, or a criminal mastermind – her involvement is now all being uncovered by Victorian and WA Police Investigations, with ample help from whistleblowers, and bloggers like Mike Smith who have had their own careers trampled on because they wanted to expose Gillard and her involvement as our Prime Minister. This story is Australian history in the making – when done Australia’s shame in having allowed it to go on for as long as it has will make us the laughing-stock of the world … how could we elect a criminal to be our Prime Minister? Yes this is our current Prime Minister – and to see the ALP caucus continue to allow her to serve as their leader, in the face of and despite this knowledge and information being revealed in an ongoing manner – the Government still sit on their thrones as if glued because they dare no move. If they did take action so long after the event, it would expose their plausible deniability. Gillard is in a self destruct mood – she sees the AWU scandal back in 1995 and how she was cast aside as the reason to let ‘Rome’ burn … she has no intention in trying to save Labor – she would rather see it burn than again be cast aside … And in this scenario – Gillard is more dangerous now than she has ever been – she is our own homegrown political terrorist – she has her own bomb-vest set to detonate when it can do the most damage – Gillard no more cares for Australia’s future as aligned with her own views of her personal place in history. In another context – she might be called a mental retard with a hate agenda against men … and I’m sure Tim can add so much to that debate. |

The latest Bob Carr ‘joker in the box’ moment came via his interview on the new SBS program – ‘The Observer Effect‘ last night. This was the 2nd episode for this new program – the IView replay is not yet available, however the transcript of the interview is and is pasted below. It is a great interview by Fanning and I congratulate her for getting Bob Carr to share his views and opinions so frankly … I have pasted the whole interview transcript below and it is quite long – but the section of the interview that this post finds most interesting can be accessed directly – using this link – there is a return link provided to take you to the beginning of the Interview … ‘The Australian’ reported on this interview as well – also pasted below – or linked here:
Secondly – ‘The Australian’ story …
Bob Carr became NSW Premier the year before Paul Keating was defeated by John Howard. Bob Carr was Premier of NSW until 2005. Queensland’s Peter Beattie became Premier in 1998 and stayed Premier until 2007. Victoria’s Steve Bracks became Premier in 1999 and remained Premier until 2007. These three Premiers presided over State ALP politics for a decade or more and in that time the festering corruption now emerging and being exposed in NSW, and in the other States can be directly aligned with the malignancy that destroyed the ALP in NSW and QLD at the last State elections. The Federal toxicity stems from the Union aligned MP’s and the loyalty demanded – this ‘loyalty’ is what NSW MP’s were scared of – Obeid’s power was all conquering and the loyalty of the Federal MP’s to their Union factions is now coming apart at the seams. A chop to the head of a few wantabe leaders could see the ALP finally dumped as a ‘major’ political party … One cannot believe that this base corruption through a sense of entitlement is singular in its depth of penetration. The talk of the Terrigal Club, the former Speaker Torbay, Federal Cabinet Ministers Combet, Conroy, and Bourk, all have ICAC established connections with Obeid. And then Bob Ellis – mentioned above as a Carr’s speechwriter when Premier – and his personal blog comments about the ‘intelligent design Cabinet’ currently serving this Nation, his delusions can only suggest the cocktail they’re all drinking is mixed with LSD and other hallucinate substitutes … loyalty demanded by drugged induce stupors … Carr is dangerous and the way I read the above interview has him ready and waiting for the call to elevate him to the PM job. |

When is it acceptable to support someone under a ‘Police Investigation’? Is it when that person is a family member, a work colleague, a friend, someone that you think has been wrongly accused … how about when the Prime Minister is that person who is under police investigation? Julia Eileen Gillard is the ‘person of interest’ in a police investigations as is Bruce Wilson, and Ralph Blewitt, and many others connected with the AWU fraud and its cover-up that happened during the early 1990’s. Ralph Blewitt has confessed exposing Gillard and others, Wilson has also coughed up a statement to the media, but Gillard will not confess to the media or the Australian people that she is under a police investigation connected to the AWU fraud. To further confound – the media have not asked Gillard the question(s) –
Why not is an obvious response? Surely this is news – surely if all Australia became informed about the police investigation in a formal way they would be in a position to make a judgement call about all those in Parliament who continue to support Ms Gillard as the PM. Independent Mr Windsor and Senator Barnaby Joyce made comments on the record yesterday as reported below:-
Windsor once again has tied himself to Gillard with his above comments – that creates a question of why if he is aware of the ‘police investigation’. Or – it could be that he sees no creditable case against Gillard and that would mean that his dismisses all the allegations made – but yet again nobody asks him the questions about his position on the AWU fraud scandal and the police investigation. Windsor’s Parliamentary actions seem to be honourable and there has been only a blimp of exposure to his feelings towards Tony Abbott. That was when he unleashed on him in the House over the undertaking Abbott gave if Windsor supported the Coalition to form Government in 2010 – that was during the ‘boat people’ Immigration debate late 2012. That outburst exposed the hatred Windsor has for Abbott and it’s a hatred still evident if a police investigation is not enough to make Windsor reconsider his support for Gillard. Windsor’s exposure on so many levels in his support for Gillard is what Joyce sees as the reasons he can unseat WIndsor … Independents Windsor, Wilkie, Katter, and Oakeshott, along with The Greens Adam Brandt, and forced new Independents Peter Slipper, and Craig Thompson have held the balance of power in the House since the 2010 election. Gillard survives on the support of at least four of these Independents in any ‘no-confidence’ or ‘supply’ motion. The Greens Brandt has pledged support to Gillard on matters of ‘supply’ and ‘no confidence’ – Thompson and Slipper will support Gillard given Gillard’s support for both through their own criminal investigations. So the balance comes down to Wilkie, Oakeshott, Katter, and Windsor. Katter has supported the Coalition and Government on various Bills and is a ‘loose cannon’ in any debate on ‘no-confidence’. The Coalition need all four of these Independent votes to roll Gillard, and that is the dilemma why the promised ‘no-confidence’ motion has not happened, and will not happen. The election is three months away – less than 100 days – and Windsor is the Independent under most pressure. Yet he has the highest margin of any of the Independents. Joyce needs a swing greater that 21% to oust Windsor – that is a big ask but Joyce must have polling that suggests he can succeed. Oakeshott’s intention about re-contesting his own seat is still unknown – he has delayed his decision twice already and that only diminishes his comments about good governance and how he thinks this Government has been a good Government. He fears the voter backlash and embarrassment at the trouncing the polls are predicting … all his outspoken comments about Gillard’s achievements make him also guilty of supporting a PM under an on-going police investigation. ALP have 71 seats with the ousting of Thompson, the Coalition 72 with the loss of Slipper, and an ‘absolute majority’ of 76 votes is needed to have a ‘no confidence’ motion passed. Of course – if any of the marginalised and booted ALP ex Ministers had an inkling to do the right thing – the Independents would not be needed. ‘Crossing the floor’ is the most powerful statement any MP can make – The Police Investigation: The ‘she’ says, ‘he’ says on whether a police investigation exists comes down to two sources –
Both these sources are impeccable – no writs have been issued by Gillard or any other party to have the allegations suppressed, or withdrawn which can only lead to the assumption there is fact and truth in the allegations made. How is this not news – that our Prime Minister is under a serious crime investigation and is one of the ‘prime suspects’ – The Independents Windsor, Oakeshott and Wilkie stand behind a PM under police investigation – how would that trade in their electorates … Abbott is also not blameless – why did he not ask during ‘Question Time’ in the past two weeks whether the PM could confirm she is under a police investigation? Gillard’s answer under oath else she would be misleading the House, would have given the Independents no room to move in a ‘no confidence’ motion. If it was on the public record it would have to be news and then all Australia would have undeniable proof that their PM is part way to being proved a criminal. Why none of this happened is connected with protecting all the politicians involved – that means everybody – if it became confirmed that the ALP caucus, the Independents, the Greens, and the Coalition stopped short of ousting Gillard because of the harm that would cause to our parliamentary process – then they are all guilty of the cover-up. Where is the strength of character, integrity, and moral sustenance to stand up and say – this is wrong and if by association I cannot bring this to an end – then my conscience cannot go forward knowing what I know to be true … The Politicians think they play by a set of different rules – what other excuse can there be … There is no more moral wrong then what is being delivered to Australians as the democracy they are ruled by. How can this be democracy when lies and fraud are the foundation stones upon which it is built? Please – consider all the above and make up your own mind – Gillard is a criminal – but she is only part of the problem as her caucus rallies behind her, as do the Independents and to some extent – the Opposition fail to ask the important questions that would sink Gillard and the ALP … Perhaps a reason can be found in the duplicity of recent exposure of the Coalitions support to grab some $60 million of taxpayers funds to boost ‘electoral funding’ backdated to ensure war chest funds for he upcoming election. Perhaps all political parties have some unwritten laws that they only can go so far in exposing MPs … I can’t accept that but what can the alternative be in not exposing in the House that Gillard is under a police investigation? |

Iheard Kevin Rudd say to the cameras yesterday that his ALP colleagues should shut-up and get behind the Leader so Tony Abbott does not get to be the next Prime Minister. To tell you the truth I had to take a second to ponder and search on-line for the comment to in fact make sure it was Kevin Rudd who made the statement – Sky News ran the story – see below:
The Press have had a field day in recent times over the hapless ALP and Member’s willingness to feed the insider story frenzy … RUDD’s comments above strip him of any creditable given his disruptive efforts over the last three years … RUDD was seen as the saviour by so many – and is now seen as just an egotistical power junkie whose spoiler tactics have flayed the ALP wide open for whatever is coming its way in September. RUDD knows Gillard has a criminal past and whilst he continued to challenge, faithful ALP supporters stuck by him. The fact that he ahs now presented himself rolled over and happy to play lap-dog – the question is why has he positioned himself to support this criminal as Leader into the next election. Surely his love of the ALP has its limits … morally this comment puts him on the side of corrupt politicians … In the three years Gillard has been the PM – there is nothing by example in her actions, policy, demeanour, or otherwise that represents leadership qualities expected of our highest office. It is one of the reasons RUDD retained popularity with the electorate. How does Gillard get the support of her caucus to maintain her position in the face of the ongoing ‘police investigation’? Gillard’s evidence of guilt is there for anyone who wants to read and follow the paper trail established by the likes of Mike Smith and others. This internal support by caucus members for soon to be declared criminals in Thompson, Slipper, Obeid and the like are examples of how far the ALP have come in supporting and fostering criminal behaviour against the public purse. Gillard is a part of that behaviour. It was only this morning that the ALP cancelled Obeid and MacDonald’s Labor Party membership – yet the ICAC revelations happened in Jan/Feb earlier this year. Why has it taken this long to cancel there party memberships? Thompson also was afforded his ALP membership until it was known he would be arrested. With RUDD”s comments yesterday – we can all now see what a dud he really is – no morality, no integrity – the want to win and spoil the other side regardless of the corruption within his own party. If he had an ounce of integrity worthy of public office – he would cross the floor to get rid of Gillard.

Edited 31st May – sorry for the language … angst and all that … Aday later, 24 hours to absorb the reality of what the ‘electoral funding’ deal was all about – the thoughts are of anger and ‘how dare’ they … of how did they think they were going to get away with it … For Abbott to have written his letter – for Pyne to be in on it – for the ALP to propose the legislation – or did they – or was it the Libs who went to the ALP … what ever – all involved are immoral – all have a flawed mindset to even think they have entitlement … All You tell me if Abbott is fit to lead … he did not convince anyone with his confession and half-baked walk away … the media have it right to hunt Abbott, but they are all wrong thinking that the The media have to hunt Gillard and whoever thought up this legislation and give them equal billing … this is HSU, Slipper copycat, Union heavies thinking they are entitled – and for the Libs to think they are on a higher moral ground – who are they kidding … This thing – this infection, cancer, toxic bile … it’s a disease all politicians have in some way – Windsor, None have creditability – it was the people who sent the e-mails, who phoned, who faxed, who vented and shamed their Members into a backdown vote. Backbenchers claiming they had no knowledge, or had not seen the legislation is just like a kid caught smokin’ the pot saying it’s not my fault’ … How about the morality of voting themselves a ‘base salary’ pay rise from $130k to $195K when the Nation is in trouble … where was the conscious about entitlement then – where was Wilkie saying he would not take the pay rise … Milne arguing against such an exorbitant hike … a pay rise of some 50% … you tell me a business where the bottom rung of workers get a 50% pay rise … Shareholders vote on executive remunerations and bonuses – Politicians vote themselves their own pay rises and all their other perks – this was just another one that was exposed before it was passed … This system of Government smells and is rotten from the inside … then there is the superannuation perks … and that is another whole other stench of perks and entitlements beyond belief … Gillard earns more than Obama, more than Cameron, more that the Leaders of Europe … she is in the Marcos league of frauds and wealth generation … Someone has to burn this House down … both Houses and the Green House … none are worthy and if they tell you different – ask them if they love this Nation enough to work for free … They did 100+ years ago … men who had made something of themselves and then chose to give back and serve in public office for free … they did what they wanted – lined their pockets with backhanders and sweetheart deals behind closed doors … the same as it happens today except they get paid out of the public purse for every little expense. Abbott mumbled something about public funding of political parties instead of donations … what mediocrity … if a political party needs public money to survive and believe that is OK … they’re gone in the head … and unless they come up with a contrite way to acknowledge they were utterly wrong … Australian’s have the right to turn their backs on our Parliamentary system.

Abbott gets a Backbone: Some things happen ever so rarely in life that when you see someone stand tall on a morality or integrity issue and do the right thing, you ponder how hard it must have been for them. Tony Abbott grew or was injected with a morality backbone overnight. He realised he was risking a lot when he backflipped after agreeing to support a morally bankrupt ‘cash-grab’ to fund political party’s ‘administration costs’. His minders – i.e. his own ‘faceless men’ had done a deal with the ALP’s own ‘faceless-men’ to steal taxpayers money. This negotiation had been going on for months and in hindsight – Abbott has revealed his persona is flawed and that as the Prime Minister in waiting – Australia needs him to step up and show us that he can lead. This backflip is a start, but the questions remains about some of his poor choices. The Legislation was conceived out of hubris and when revealed to the public, someone turned a light on alerting those who thought it was a good idea, that the dark place they had hatched this scheme from was the ‘devil’s home’, and sitting opposite them with the candy bribe was the devil’s incarnated whore – Julia Gillard. Abbott’s minders revolted with ample urging from the public – sanity prevailed with the announcement the Liberals were walking away from the deal hatched many months ago mid evening last night. Earlier in the evening reports were that the Nationals were meeting to discuss pulling support – so perhaps that morality enema Tony received was not taken willingly … Anyway the right result happened and a warm thankyou to those still in politics who showed they still have a morality conscience. *** Just In: This morning Abbott appeared to explain the backflip – he was unconvincing and the morality backbone was definitely not of his own making. He fumbled throughout the interview indicating ‘now was not the right time to bring this legislation forward’. He did not clarify further not was asked to clarify – does that mean that in the future it will be a better time? Abbott does not get it – he had the belief that there is a right to raid the public purse to fund political parties administration costs. Abbott needs to rule this type of plunder of taxpayers money out for good … a never never promise … The flip side is that the media were hostile toward Abbott and that is no newbie … why are the media not honed in on Gillard and Albanese and the ALP for proposing the Legislation in the first place … Albanese fronted the media after Abbott and the tone of questioning was supportive – they allowed Albanese to point Abbott as black and never wore a question about the low morality of the proposed legislation. I want to say – nobody can trust this Nation’s media to do right by the people … leftist journo’s have ruined objectivity and media reporting … journos no longer report news – they report their own agenda and slant their agenda’s to their own political beliefs … these are dangerous times to believe everything you read or hear coming from a news source. Lenore Taylor was recognised as one of the journo’s asking questions at Abbott – she is well know for her love of all things ALP and having an underware fetish with all things red and sluttish – she is such a Gillard whore and nothing coming from her musings or print stories is balanced. It is another example of the media acting as Gillards hound dogs … a stench upon all of you … *** Just in: Further news this morning is the release of a letter from Abbott to the AG confirming the Coalition’s agreement to the proposed Legislation … this proves Abbott’s complicity and the question is now whether this was a loaded issue from the outset to flush out Abbott? Albanese was on the attack toward Abbott’s backroom revolt over his support for the legislation – the media let him rant on and not once asked Albanese whether he felt the legislation was morally challenged … scumbags the lot of them … and I piss on the media for being ‘crumb eaters’… ALP crumbs … Gillard and her team know they have nothing to lose – so they try to tar and feather Abbott by association with an unpelletable piece of Legislation they know will spike electoral backwash … i.e. they baited Abbott and he took the hook and now is exposed as being the same money hungry Politician as the ALP are … As said by a commentator – this election is for Abbott to lose … Moving on: in political terms this matter could be used as the primer Abbott can use to bring on the ‘no-confidence motion’ he has been threatening. Will he – that will be a defining moment in Leadership if he does – if he rolls over and skulks in the tall timbers ashamed at his initial involvement and scared that the Government will tag him for it – that will be the measure of the man’s ability to lead. Todays Question Time offers much, but as so often happens … the Opposition always find a way to lose their way when they have the opportunity … do you think they can discipline themselves enough to not get thrown out if the ‘no-confidence’ motion is afoot? We’ll have to wait and see … New AG Mark Dreyfus really is a “TOSSER”: On the ASIO Security Briefing to George Brandis: The honeymoon period for new Attorney General Mark Dreyfus is over – and wow … has he proved himself to be an absolute knob when it comes to performing for Gillard in front on the Media … how many times has he had to front the cameras … and mind you he seems to want that spotlight … to cover Gillard’s ample arse … On Lateline last night he proved that his QC background is absolutely worthless as an Attorney General – Tony Jones walked him through his scenario on the ASIO breach by George Brandis and question Dreyfus every which-way a number of times about how what Brandis did was any different to what Gillard did in the House when she spoke about the security breach. Jones could not get Dreyfus to see the double standards being applied – Two things – either Dreyfus did understand but could not answer the question for fear of lighting his own career fuse, of he is that stupid that the stench around him from Gillard’s witchery has him happy to make a fool of himself to save Gillard. Does he understand how foolish he looked giving the answers he did – watch the interview here … the transcript link is not working yet. Dreyfus is proving every day that he is out of his depth as was his predecessor Nicola Roxon. A Bitch Session: I receive RSS Feed updates from many Ministerial Media links – the two that register most on the ‘puke’ Richter scale emanate from Jason Clare’s office and the other comes from Mark Dreyfus’s office. All other Ministerial media releases messages arrive with a short summary and a link to the Ministers media web release updates that appear under the traditional Governmental banners … very professional and creates no belly roll laughter problems. The Jason Clare messages – and there are many with announcements coming 2-3 times a day with Boat Arrival intercept notifications – is truly an overkill in self-promotion … Clare has by far the largest banner ‘Header’ identifier seen, and since he took the ‘Home Office’ portfolio, L swear he has increased the font size used two or three times to make his name and position more pronounced. I digress a little – Mark Dreyfus comes in a close second for the same reasons but for totally different reasons. Clare’s header takes up the whole preview viewer and I have to chuckle to myself about how small his dick must be if he needs to portray his title and name as large as it appears on all his media releases. On the other hand – Mark Dreyfus’s office provides announcements to all his appearances and press conferences and followed up by the transcripts of these media interviews and speeches. In the last few days, this has stopped … I wonder why … To all those who registered their objections re the electoral funding increase legislation – pat yourselves on the back … the power of the people is real … well done. – Register your Protest – |

Latest Pickering images – 3 New Cartoons added 29th May 2013 – see image links to the left. Just when you thought the political landscape had settled – that the underhandedness was done – that the bar was already as low as it could go – something new comes forth and makes you realise why this Nation has gone to the dogs. With scumbags and fraudsters to the left, top hats and elitists to the right, disendorsed charlatans and criminals floating in the abyss, and Independents basking in the ‘pork-barrelling’ – how can you call this a Government for the people, of the people, and by the people. These are our worst days … and we have nothing to look forward to if the Coalition support this new ‘Political Party Administration Funding’ tax – not a formal tax, but a new and hubristic indirect tax none the less. As reported in the ‘EYE-BALL “None of the Above” campaign post yesterday – and linked here – this new boost to AEC electoral funding is a ‘tax’ imposed on all 14+ million voters regardless of whether they want to support any political party. This new ‘tax’ was budgeted for in the 2012-13 Budget papers as a ‘contingency’, and as more information comes forward, now to be backdated to make sure the major parties get a big whack of new money to help with the Sept 2013 election campaign. If you voted formally in the last election – you ‘gifted’ $2.31 as an AEC electoral refund to the Political Party or Independent you voted for if they polled 4% or better. This year it will be in excess of $2.50 a vote. And now the new legislation wants to increase this by another $1 per vote. As pointed out yesterday – this is a 40% increase it may be a single $dollar – but no business in Australia can increases prices by 40% and stay in business. The existing electoral payment is already inflation indexed every six months – why can’t these political Parties survive on their existing funding during these harsh times? This is a pethetic message … and needs to be responded to in kind. The Legislation is aimed at making this an annual payment paid quarterly – it seems they have though of everything as any business does to improve cash flow. Where is the due diligence in how these new funds are to be disbursed? Is there anyone prepared to trust political parties or politicians with ‘slush-fund’ type payments to be spend under a discretionary arrangement on a headline expenditure item called – ‘Administration Costs’. The money involved is close to $60 million over three years – what business would not love to have that sort of cash injection? Do Party employees geta pay rise, do they get a bonus, do they upgrade their travel class, motel accommodation, their expense account … as the rest of Australia is forced to tighten the political Party’s believe they have entitlement to cover their membership cancellations. The existing $2.47 AEC payment is not subjected to any real scrutiny with 95% of payments made within 4 weeks of the election polling day. You could spend a pittance to win your votes and get the refund if you poll 4% or more – Pauline Hanson runs every election because it gifts her $250k or so income for the next three years. It’s a rort …. see full AEC Election Funding guide here. The debate in the media is focused on the ‘donation thresholds’. Who cares about who donates money – I know its important to know who is donating to who and the threshold is about disclosure – it does nothing to stop the money. If it becomes an issue than the donations will be made via other undeclared means. The real issue here is the new 40% ‘tap’ into the public purse. Political Party’s chose to exist as do all business – it’s not a bad gig to get the taxpayers to fund your administration costs if you can get away with it. Why do we take this crap … the simple answer is because we don’t give a toss … we bitch for a few days and the news moves on and in the wake they do what they want … our apathy contributes to the ease at which our leaders raid the treasury. With Obeid and MacDonald still in the news the electorate have become immune to the shock and awe they felt in January/February when news first broke. Is the crime any less shocking now? Hardly – and as the names of the politicians implicate – do any of them seemed harmed … former NSW Speaker Richard Torbay is gone – yet still gets to keep his State funded life pension … well at this stage anyway because he is still due to face the ongoing ICAC inquiry. The hubris to pull a ‘cash-grab’ like this astounds us all. The ‘bubble’ they live in has never been more evident – nor more in need of a real shock to deflate their own sense of privilege and ego. Of the 100 or so MP’s EYE-BALL e-mail yesterday on this matter – only 25 or so acknowledged receipt – not one MP office responded directly, and quite a number of those who did acknowledged receipt – deleted the message without reading it… This is a new ‘fraud’ and cannot be allowed to pass. If the Coalition support this Legislation in the House then any credibility or higher moral ground they may have had as the alternative Government is gone. How dare the prposers of the Legislation claim that increased informal votes have weakened their electoral funding payments – give us better Government and win the votes with the excution of good governance. Mediocrity does not demand rewarding … Don’t forget to – – Register your Protest – |
