    I have not provided any input this week. The GI is down to 41.633 positive. Really cruddy given the boost from Snitzerland in the Golden Slipper. It has not been a good year, but that is the point of the GI to benchmark my performance. Should Canterbury not pay, my last residual tip, the year will amount to positive 8.3, 3/5ths of diddly squat.

    The 4 matches this weekend are each lotteries. It is simply impossible to have a best bet. I hope for a Souths Manly grand final. Most believe Souths are not a realistic chance. Down South other than Collingwood and Hawks supporters most would like to see Crows play Swans.Really watch them fly.

    In Betting I have Souths @ $2.70 a heart bet rather than a head bet, and I also backed Crows at $6.25. Preposterous odds. When following the recent Swans v Crows match I made a note to back whoever Swans played in Prelim Final. Given the Swans record against Pies including them losing the last 5 matches against Collingwood at Sydney’s Olympic Stadium I feel their favouritism to be totally false.

    Last Friday when Kite could not return for Manly I thought that would be a telling blow. Ryles hamstring for Storm may just re balance the equation.

    For the fun of it;

    Melbourne Storm to score the first converted try, and then they will kick a penalty to lead 8 nil. Manly to score thereafter 2 tries, only one converted to lead 10 – 8 half time score. Manly to score around about the 50th minute unconverted to lead 14 – 8. Melbourne then score to level the scores, and then take a field goal to lead 15 -14. Manly score a converted try in the dying minutes to win 20 – 15.

    In the AFL Sydney Swans to win the first quarter by 7 (3.4 v 2.3). Pies win the second quarter by 19, and look to have the half time momentum. After a soul searching pep talk by Longmire at half time Swans narrowly win the 3rd quarter by less than 6 low scoring qtr and go into the final qtr 8 behind at kick the winning goal in injury time.

    Tomorrow night, Souths lead Canterbury 10 nil after Ennis is stretchered off. Sam Burgess on report. Exonerated for the big one. Souths win 34 to 6.

    Hawks score first but Adelaide win the first quarter by 3 behinds. Adelaide win the second quarter by a margin in the teens. Hawthorn throw everything at them in the 3rd quarter and win the quarter by less than 10. In the fourth quarter on very tired legs crows give the Hawks an absolute lesson.

    Have fun, Good hunting and Happy Punting.

    Where ever your were when you penned this summary – don’t go there again to do your forecast thinking … just love to see Manly and that nutjob coach get theirs … given their mistakes throughout the game they just never showed up … maybe they backed Storm …

    A comment on the try qawarded to Slater in the 1st half – someone should check to see if the video ref had a bet on Slater to score in the firat half … what a clusterfuck of a decision …

    It’s been a long season Rookie … the wheel turned full circle for you and to be fair the season was still a winner ….

    Wanting to see Manly win was all about 1970 and 1972. In 1970 John Bucknall smashed Satts jaw in the 10th minute, and 1972 was when Coote went to Easts, and Lurch, Brannigan (Ray and Artie) and Bobby Moses defected to Manly. Manly won their first title against Easts and ended Souths glory days. Beating Manly next week would be fitting. Just another premiership would be fitting. There is now a whole generation and a half, who only know of Souths history in a bygone era. My Great Uncle coached them in 1931. He was their hooker in 1919. But for my son, there has only been far to many wooden spoons.

    Melbourne Storm are a manufactured franchise. They have no soul, just big bucks courtesy of News Corp involvement in NRL.

    Run you Rabiits, run. They’ll get by without their rabbit pie, so run rabbit run rabbit run run run.

    Most of Sydney is now supporting the Rabbitohs.
