NRL Round 12 match Summaries – May 27th -30th
Game Time Home Team: Away Team Comments/Selections …
Friday 13/05 7:00pm Sea Eagles: Broncos:

Preview: News that Lockyer and Thiaday will miss the game with doubts also on three other SOO players have weakened the Broncos – SeaEagles have only one SOO player and news of his status is unknown – SeaEagles face a teat tonight as do the Broncos – the latter having slipped from equal 1st on points to 5th – tough game to call winner – going with BRONCOS on back of their Storm performance after Test Match had them missing 4-5 players on the backup … no confidence in selection …

Match Summary:  Pathetic effort by the Broncos in the 2nd half – 30-0 and on the back of that they have gone from contenders to pretenders.

Winner: SeaEagles 34-10

Friday 13/05 8:40pm Bulldogs: Titans:

Preview: The 2nd match on a double header at Suncorp – Titans are desperate and the Bulldogs are coming off 3 straight losses – have a feeling that the Titans will step up and give their fans something to cheer about … again no confidence in selection … form reversals are evident every week in this competition and the matchups this weekend are all in that category bar Dragons and Storm … interesting stat – both these matches are away games for the Broncos and Titans …

Match Summary: A very scrappy match – Titans continue to show they are a spent force this season – Bulldogs on the other hand remain in the top 8 and should remain in that position …

Winner: Bulldogs 28-6

Sat 28/05 5:30pm Knights: Eels:

Preview:  Knights will crush the Eels whose Monday night 40 odd point crushing of the Sharks will be a forgotten memory …

Match Summary: A very tight match – Knights lost Mullins for season in 1st half – so they may have had some excuses – but Eels were woeful yet again …

Winner:    Knights 8-6

Sat 28/05 7:30pm Cowboys: Roosters:

Preview: Cowboys have SOO players backing up as do Roosters – but home ground advantage will count – Cowboys are the pick …

Match Summary:  Strong defensive game and Thurston made the difference – look out SOO Game 2 …

Winner:  Cowboys 20-6

Sun 29/05 2:00pm Storm: Sharks:

Preview: Storm will run away with this match – the Sharks performance against the Eels on Monday cannot give any other conclusion – Gallen returns – and he ain’t no champion – Storm in a slaughter …

Match Summary: Surprisingly a tight match – Storm were probably a little flat after SOO – but the Sharks lifted and forced Storm to play serious football in 2nd half.

Winner:       Storm 14-8

Sun 29/05 3:00pm Dragons: Tigers:

Preview: Dragons have 7 SOO players backing up – the test will be whether the Tigers can show they can play football like we’ve seen on a limited basis this season – they have the potential but persistent rumours of issues within the club have the players all playing well below par … Dragons to continue their winning way …

Match Summary:  Dragons put 20 points on in the 1st half and then went to sleep – did enough to hold on …

Winner:  Dragons 24-18

Mon 30/05 7:00pm Panthers: Rabbitohs:

Preview: Probably the toughest match of the round to pick – if Panthers play like they did against the Broncos 2 weeks ago – they’ll put the sword to the Rabbitohs … but then if the Rabbitohs show up – it’ll be a tight contest – for mine I”ll stick with the Panthers

Match Summary:  Panthers stood up – no match report …

Winner: Panthers 22-10

Preview: .

Match Summary:

Winner:

Selections Results: Winners = 5 …  Looses = 2 …

as someone who actually saw the Eels Knights game it shows that you are wasting your time making comments, you obviously have no understanding of the game and how it works. Stick to things like your name implies Snoop Poop ie sniffing shit!

Once again the YODA gobbles the bait – he is a PARRAMATTA fan to the point that he has the slimmy eel like scales tattooed down his spine … he also changed his NSW SOO allegience to QLD when Stuart did not pick Hayne in Game 1 .. .if you ask me his Parramatta supporters badge may also be on a lose rein … anyone who jumps ship over Hayne’s ommission from the NSW SOO – can only have a pea heart … and be a supporter who puts a bucket over his head during games to endure all the crap directed his way … and as a Parramatta fan – I assure you he cops plenty …

I admit I never saw the game – was relying on the Footy show Comments … but who wants to watch the Eels live anyway … right …
